Dashboad rebuild part 1

OK, so its been awhile. Went full - out on the dash rebuild to have space for the 24v-12v converter, the new stereo, and a couple goodies. Started off by tearing out the old single centre mono speaker, pulling off all the panels in the dash, and removing all the unnessary wiring. Found out why the vent control was not working - due to a broken vent wire control. Mark from Brave Auto helped me instantly, ordered a cable control in Japan.... If anyone is looking for a great connection over there... Go see Mark --- www.braveautointernational.jp

Anyway, After the tear-apart I built up a mock of the new dashboard extension with foamboard and foil tape. Once it looked right, I put on a layer of fiberglass mat and let it harden to take shape. A second layer added, removed after it hardened, cut the excess, screwed a 3/4" piece of wood to the "faceplate" and bolten this to the old dash. Add bondo, and san to blend, and Voila... a new dash extension. Fun times!
